If you haven’t seen the news yet, Redcats Founders Edition Bed Dancer is up for pre-order. This innovative RC truck is the first of its kind—a ready-to-run mini truck designed to replicate the dance moves of its full-size counterparts, But what exactly sets the Founders Edition Bed Dancer apart from other RC trucks on the market? For starters, it boasts a state-of-the-art hydraulic suspension system that allows it to perform its dance moves with ease.
The legendary Jevries showcases his bed dancer along with Gerardo Saldana at the Lowrider Magazine super show. Jevries was the first to ever debut a 1/10 scale bed dancer mini truck years ago.
Bed truck dancing gained prominence in the 1980s and 1990s, thanks to advances in hydraulic technology and increased exposure in mainstream media. With its eye-catching performances, bed truck dancing quickly became a beloved aspect of both lowrider, and custom truck culture.

According to the Redcat racing website, the cut off date for pre-orders will be determined once the truck has been approved for production, which they’re expecting to be between September and December 2024. The pre-order fee will run you $100.00 which will be deducted from the grand total of the truck upon its debut.
We expect the Redcat bed dancers to open up a new world of possibilities within dance contests and showcases, and anything that contributes to the expansion of the RC lowrider scene is obviously a win for the community.
